Amazing Spider-Man 2 was delayed on Xbox One earlier this month, but today is now available for purchase through the Xbox Live store.

The game was posted earlier today on the Xbox Games Store with little fanfare. Last we heard, Activision said it was collaborating with Microsoft to bring the game out as soon as possible.

Before the game was officially made available, NeoGAF user Wario64 has posted a selection of photos showing the game on Xbox One, along with timed achievement challenges. .

More information as well as pricing and availability can be found through the Xbox Live Store link above.

10gig!? Lol. That I think even killer instinct is a larger size then that. That’s doesn’t say much content in the game.

If we measured how decent a games content was purely by how large it’s files were we would all be kissing Activisions feet from creating a masterpiece like CoD: Ghosts.

@5 a larger file size doesn’t necessarily equal to quality

Still no word on why it was “delayed” but only delayed in physical form… It’s a bizarre little story.

The game was clearly ready, why didn’t it go to duplication? Why only one version? Any reason that version was XB1? So much they are not telling us…
