MLG Arena scheduled for 2017 opening in China

Major League Gaming has announced it will build the world’s first eSports arena on Hengqin Island, which is part of Zhūhǎi city region in off the southern coast of Guangdong province, China. MLG Arena will be a 15,000-seat stadium and part of an $18 billion Creative Culture City initiative dubbed the “V-Zone” which will include an expo area for developers, and games-themed restaurants and shops.     What games are the gonna play there though? Sports games?

    @1 Games on the MLG circuit – so things like COD, FIFA, Counterstrike, etc.

    The sad thing for MLG is the big up and coming eSports games people care about – DOTA, League, Starcraft, Street Fighter – all do things alone, not with MLG.
