Survarium to throw open beta for one day only

Survarium hopefuls will have their chance to check out the shooter in a 24 hour open beta period this week.

In a news post on the game's website, Survarium developer Vostok Games announced the beta will open its doors for all comers on April 25.

For 24 hours all comers can download the client and try the game. The sandbox will then return to closed beta ahead of a full open beta release.

Hailing from the team behind S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Survarium still has a long way to go; at present, the free-to-play MMO shooter only supports PvP team multiplayer, with PvE on the way. Nevertheless, Matt's enjoyed his time with the beta.

The video below provides an update on happenings at the studio and with the game's development.

Thanks, Polygon.
