MLG adds Killer Instinct and Injustice: Gods Among Us to MLG Championship

Major League Gaming has announced Killer Instinct and Injustice: Gods Among Us have been added to the line-up for the MLG Championship in Anaheim, CA.

Each game will feature a 128-player open bracket and $7,500 in prizes. Competitor passes go on sale April 24 at 5pm EDT through the MLG online store.

The MLG Championship in Anaheim will also feature Call of Duty: Ghosts, StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm and Super Smash Brothers: Melee.

More than 20,000 spectators are expected to attend the three-day event. VIP and general admission spectator passes are available and the three-day event will be broadcast exclusively via MLG.tv on the web, the MLG app for Xbox 360 and MLG.tv mobile apps.

  • Friday, June 20 at 2:30pm PT– Saturday, June 21 at 5pm PT
  • 128 Player Open Bracket
  • Double Elimination Brackets; Matches = Best of 3 Games
  • Prizing: $7,500

Killer Instinct on Xbox One – $7,500 in prizes – on the fighting game stage

  • Event times: Saturday, June 21 at 5pm PT – Sunday, June 22 at 8pm PT
  • 128 Player Open Bracket
  • Double Elimination Bracket; Matches = Best of 3 Games
  • Prizing: $7,500

The MLG Championship takes place June 20-22.
