3D OutRun gets Japanese release date and updates list

The next Sega classic entering the third dimension on Nintendo 3DS is OutRun, and we now know that it'll be arriving on the Japanese eShop on April 23. Sega has also detailed how the game will be enhanced, including new music.

3D OutRun will feature 2 new songs composed by veteran Japanese video game music composer Manabu Namiki and Jane-Evelyn Nisperos, who worked on the Sega Vintage Collection.

The game will be playable with the touchscreen, circle pad, or D-pad. You'll also be able to save and resume the action at any time.

It'll also give players the choice between the Japanese or 'Overseas' version, each version having different course placements.

There's no news yet on this being brought West.

Thanks, Nintendo Life.
