Take On Mars: Expedition One content update allows you to drive a science buggy

Take On Mars has been updated with Expedition One, Bohemia Interactive has announced.

Part 1 of Expedition One enables players to explore the planet in a manned science buggy with an interactive 3D GUI. Players will need to first explore the new Cydonia Mensae location, which "spans 8x8 kilometer of Martian terrain."

A 3D printer will allow players to construct various parts which can be put together using the Habitat Construction System. This will allow them to create buildings and installations.

You can read the entire changelog through here.

The second portion of Expedition One, which releases in May, includes: resource extraction/transfer, habitat pressurization, and marsonaut vitals.

Take on Mars is on Steam Early Access for €13.99/$17.99/£11.99.
