Killzone Mercenary Botzone launches today in North America

Killzone Mercenary has been updated to include offline multiplayer to its eight maps, Guerilla Cambridge has announced.

Players can purchase the Botzone Soldier Training Pack which allows all multiplayer maps to be played offline in Mercenary or Guerrilla Warfare modes, against up to seven AI soldiers. As the game host, players will be provided with control over the number of teammates and enemies.

Botzone comes with new skills for the AI bots: Vanguard usage, zip line navigation, interrogations, rescues, capsule hacking, and valour card collection. Enemy bots can also use many of the game’s loadouts against the player.

Multiplayer trophies will also be available in the offline arena, and fixed to "longer standing collision issues reported in the multiplayer maps," have been applied.

Because of the fix, the update will be mandatory for anyone wishing to play online multiplayer, so make sure you have 23 MB available on your Vita memory card.

The Botzone Soldier Training Pack will be made available in Europe tomorrow.
