Sniper Elite 3 : watch VG247 take on the Halfaya Pass mission - video

Sniper Elite 3, the upcoming shooter from Rebellion, takes place during WW2's North African conflict and VG247's Sam Clay decided to try his hand at the Halfaya Pass mission.

The 40 minute-plus mission is based in a huge canyon and allows the player to go from checkpoint to checkpoint. You don't have to follow a straight course either, as it's non-linear.

Two objectives will need to be completed: take out artillery guns and a motor pool; and the final objective, destroy a tank.

Part one above shows the first objective, and you can watch Sam do his best to destroy the tank in Part 2, which will be released at a later date.

Sniper Elite 3 launches on June 27 in Europe and July 1 in North America on PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
