Zynga appoints former Best Buy executive David Lee as its new CFO

Zynga has appointed former Best Buy SVP of "corporate finance, treasury, mergers and acquisitions and corporate strategy," David Lee as its CFO. Lee will replace current CFO Mark Vranesh, who announced his departure from the firm, effective April 14. Since taking over as CEO in July, former Xbox man Don Mattrick has started pushing out existing senior management in order to turn the company around and bring it back to profitability. The market seems to like his strategy, as share in the firm rose 42% when Mattrick's appointment was announced. Zynga will release its next financial report on April 24.
