Epic announces Unreal Developer Day to take place next week

Epic Games has announced its latest free-to-attend Unreal Developer Day, which will take place April 17 at the recently opened Epic Games Centre at Staffordshire University in Stafford. The event is open to anyone with an active Unreal Engine 4 subscription.

Registration is now open and is available on a first come first served basis.

"Epic’s engineering, design and support team members will provide insight into the latest tools and technologies, as well as a look into the future of the new UE4 ecosystem," reads the announcement.

Announced at GDC 2014, new Unreal Engine 4 subscription contains access to the full engine, tools and C++ source code for $19 per month with a 5% royalty fee on published titles.

Earlier this month, the Unreal Engine 4.1 preview build was made available to subscribers with the Elemental demo.
