Black Desert character creator is one of the most fully-featured we've ever seen

Black Desert is a Korean MMORPG with jaw-dropping graphics. Just look at this incredibly detailed and powerful character creator.

It's not clear whether this is a developer tool for cinematics, or whether players will actually have this much control over the look of their in-game avatars. It seems kind of insane to give players what looks like the ability to change the weighting of individual sections of limbs, likely playing merry hell with animations. Regardless, I think we can all agree this is extremely shiny.

Black Desert is a free-to-play sandbox MMORPG from Pearl Abyss, coming to Korea, Japan and Russia. An English version is in the works but has not been signed to a publisher, so don't get your hopes up. It's currently in closed beta testing, and may eventually make the jump from PC to PlayStation 4.
