Amazon Game Studio’s has revealed its first Amazon Fire TV exclusive – Sev Zero.

The title is a hybrid of third-person shooter and tower defence, and comes free when you buy the $39.99 Fire TV controller, or $6.99 solus.

The official blurreads: “In Sev Zero, players can jump between environments—start in tower defense mode to build out towers and assess the surroundings, and then beam down to shooter mode for face-to-face combat against the Ne’ahtu. Players can also bring friends and family into the action with the Sev Zero companion tablet app, Sev Zero: Air Support. With this multi-player, multi-screen experience, players help each other thwart the enemies—one player is in Air Support mode initiating air strikes from their tablet while the other player is in face-to-face combat mode.”

The Amazon Fire TV will set you back $99 and was unveiled today by the company.

    You know this interesting, you have to respect Amazon for this. They have an “all in one box” that cannot only play movies, but video games as well.

    And by them showing the public this exclusive game called “Sev Zero” (whether it’s good or bad) shows the gaming community that they’re at least taking the gaming aspect of this device somewhat seriously.

    Meanwhile, you have the ‘ass clowns’ over at Valve making these pointless consoles, that serves no real purpose to the people like myself that already have a monster PC.

    You would think and hope, if they’re making these consoles they would want to make some type of exclusive game to attract consumers, but nooooooooo…….. instead they introduce the stupidest fucking looking controller known to man.

    Sony and MS will, there’s no hope for Nintendo until they get rid of that moron of a president of theirs.

    @Mike W,
    Ouya and PS Vita TV exist too, and before this offering.
    That doesn’t matter though. Although I am definitely looking forward to PSVTV western launch this year (probably). The competition will be awesome.
