BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea – episode two developer Irrational Games has confirmed that the DLC consists of two downloads on Xbox 360 due to file size.

We just posted our final impressions of Burial at Sea – episode 2, and we’ve also got a review score round-up here.

It appears that the final expansion will require two separate downloads on Xbox 360, according to this tweet out of Irrational Games last night:

While the studio has confirmed that the DLC weighs in at between 6-10GB depending on which platform you opt for, it’s not quite clear why you’ll need to download the content in two parts on Microsoft’s console.

Any guesses?

BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea – episode two rolls out on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 from today.

Microsoft has a size limit of 2GB for DLCs. Mass Effect: Citadel also was similar; you bought the Mass Effect: Citadel DLC and there was another add-on for the game named “Citadel Part 2″ I think, which was free. You had to download both.
