MLG's 360 app drops today, lets you watch live streams of pro events

Major League Gaming's Xbox 360 app launches today on Xbox Live and will allow you to watch live streams of several MLG events, including the upcoming Call of Duty Championship 2014.

The app is free, though you will need an Xbox Live subscription to be able to use it. It will be available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia. An Xbox One version is also in development and will drop sometime this year.

"The MLG app for Xbox 360 brings our content directly to gaming fans on Xbox Live," said Sundance DiGiovanni, MLG CEO and cofounder.

MLG users have watched 54 million hours of video content in 2013, and MLG expects consumption of video content to "greatly increase" this year thanks to the Xbox 360 app, according to DiGiovanni.

"We continue to deliver content on Xbox that we know our audience craves and MLG's premium programming was something we saw a high demand for," said Yusuf Mehdi, Xbox marketing executive.

You can head to the MLG website for the full schedule of events.
