SingOn promises to "stay current," through dynamic a streaming service which allows the developer to launch with thousands of songs including rock, pop, indie, dance and hip-hop classics. The service also ensures the game is updated every week with tracks from the UK Top 20 Chart.

"From a design point of view we wanted a simple, clean and modern interface," said executive producer Tommi Halonen. "The lyrics are the heart of the game – guiding you on the melody and sparkling to let you know if you have sung high, low or on-pitch.

"We’ve also included party-friendly voice effects TuneOn and RoboOn, re-tuning your singing or totally synthesizing your voice, themed-playlists, real-time scoring and star ratings.

"We didn’t want players to get frustrated hanging around waiting for the next track to be chosen. All you need to do with SingOn is plug in a mic and start singing. The Queue feature lets you add tracks while you sing using the PS3 controller or the SingOn Android or iOS app on your phone or tablet."

The game will be free to download through the PS Store and comes with 10 tracks to use as often as players wish. If players want to add additional songs to the game, they can purchase a three-pack for £2.99 or a 48-hour Time Pass for £5.99 which provides access to the full library of songs.

Players can also purchase a full one-year Time Pass for £49.99.
