PS4 update will allow users to dim the DualShock 4's lightbar

An upcoming PlayStation 4 update will allow users to dim the DualShock 4 controller's lightbar, according to a Twitter exchange between SCE Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida and Geoff Keighley. The PS4's lightbar allows for quick differentiation between controllers, and is used in some games to provide atmosphere or even as an alternative to the HUD, as in Thief.
