Titanfall Xbox 360 pushed to April 8 in North America, April 11 in Europe

Titanfall Xbox 360 has been delayed into April, according to an announcement from EA.

Speaking on the EA Blog, studios EVP Patrick Söderlund said the delay will provide Bluepoint Games “a little more time” to tweak a few things.

“I’ve been playing the game a lot, and it is fantastic,” he wrote. “But we see a few things that can be made even better, so we’re giving Bluepoint a little more time to do just that and deliver an epic Titanfall experience for Xbox 360 players.

“Titanfall for Xbox 360 will now be releasing on April 8 in North America, and beginning on April 11 in Europe. The game will feature the same 6v6 gameplay, maps, modes, weapons and Burn Cards as the Xbox One and PC versions of the game.”

Titanfall Xbox 360 was originally slated for a simultaneous release with the next-gen version, before being delayed to March 25 and March 28 in North America and Europe, respectively.

The game is out now on PC and Xbox One.

A game that was supposed to be out in 6 days being delayed two weeks? It must’ve failed certification several times, and they would’ve known before now it wasn’t going to hit the date.

So close to its intended release, they push it back another two weeks? If it was a technical decision, they would have known in advance and wouldn’t have waited until now to announce it.

It seems quite obvious that it is not a technical but rather a marketing decision, in order to try to boost Xbox One sales. The effect Titanfall has on XO sales must be a little less than what they intended (no real sales figures released, etc)

I think comparison vids between the 360 & xbox one versions, would do more to boost xbox one sales.

    Its going to look awful.
