Ubisoft has released a new behind-the-scene video with Massive Entertainment detailing the Snowdrop engine using in Tom Clancy’s The Division.

The video follows a set of screenshots which were released on Monday.

The engine was developed in-house by Massive which provided the studio with the ability to “work better, not bigger, by giving content creators the freedom to experiment, prototype and truly unleash their creativity.”

Watch below.

The game has yet to be dated for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, although this document suggests it’s still coming in 2014.

Looks even better than Witcher 3.

Shame it won’t come close to looking like that on consoles though, hopefully it’ll maintain that quality for PC atleast.

This game looks absolutely incredible. I’m pre-odering it for the PS4 the second it’s available.

It looks incredible! Can’t wait to see how the final game looks. Also the engine UI kinda seems like the Unity engine.

Does the actual game even exist? Aside form a controlled and fake-ish gameplay session at E3 (Considering how it’s an Ubisoft game, downgrades and etc), all they have shown so far has been one engine demo after another engine demo.
