Witcher 3 studio working on multiplatform mobile title, not necessarily linked to RPG series

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt studio CD Projekt RED has confirmed it is working on an unannounced mobile title for multiple devices and platforms, but it seems that it's not necessarily anything to do with the Witcher series.

The news follows confirmation that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will not launch until February 2015.

It comes from a CD Projekt RED management report, as translated by Eurogamer Poland.

The document reads, "For several months, along with an external partner, we worked on another, unannounced project, which we plan to launch this year.

"It's a multiplatform mobile game, made with advanced technological capabilities of tablets and smartphones in mind. Thus, we are entering a completely new territory in terms of gameplay and business model, realising our strategic plans to enter the mobile gaming market."

The site adds that the project isn't necessarily Witcher-related. It could be anything at this point.
