According to Fernando Melo’s tweet: “If you happened to signup for the Dragon Keep beta, today is a good day to check inbox and spam folders.”

Dragon Age Keep will allow Dragon Age players to “customize a historical world state” to their exact specifications as well as import saved games from previous Dragon Age titles.

If you have yet to register for the beta you can do so here.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is out this fall.

Thanks, Game Informer.

No this is a tool that will allow you to transfer for you characters across platforms much similar to PS3 interactive mass effect comic.

@Delsin Row Keep was created to directly address the issue of bringing save games between different platforms. Saaaay, PS3->PS4 or Xbox 360->PC, etc. It also serves to ensure that if there are any issues with importing it can be fixed server side (it’s a browser based online solution). Finally, it’s rumor has it that it’s set up narratively so new players to the franchise can set things up and understand what’s happened in the universe leading up to Inquisition– also good for playing with save states that you never actually played through but want to try it. (Y guy is dead but X girl is alive, then vice versa, etc.)
