HMV to ditch pre-owned games business, is selling off remaining stock at discount

UK entertainment retailer HMV has confirmed it has stopped buying in pre-owned games and is now phasing out its remaining stock at a discount.

Speaking with Eurogamer, an HMV branch manager confirmed the move, while a secondary tipster added that the group no longer sees games as a core part of its business. The retailer will now sell off its remaining pre-owned games at a discounted price.

It's unclear if this move marks the end of pre-owned stock in HMV for good, or if this is a temporary situation.

Still; let us know if you pick up a bargain.
