PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate, which combines the campaigns of Shooter 1 and Shooter 2 has been handed a release date by developer Double Eleven.
The titles have been given a full make over for PlayStation 4, such as real-time environment lighting, and a host of new visual FX updates for projectiles, explosions, thrusters and more. The visual feedback on the ship has also been overhauled, and is now in 3D.
Shooter Ultimate will run at 60fps on the console, the HUD has been revamped, and the Cross-Play and Cross-Save title will also allow you to play multiplayer on the console against your pals in Vita.
PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate will be released sometime this summer.
