Titanfall Austin launch event to be livestreamed

Microsoft is throwing a launch party for Titanfall at SXSW in Austin, Texas, but if you can't make it you can tune in via Twitch.

Details of the March 10 event are available on Major Nelson's blog, and although attendance will be first come, first served, Microsoft has asked fans to stay tuned for entry promotions.

Xbox corporate vice president Yusuf Mehdi will be joined by Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella and community manager Abbie Heppe, Rooster Teeth Productions, Geoff Keighley, Jon Carnage and Xbox Live Gamerscore champion Stallion83 - and there will be a performance from Childish Gambino.

Titanfall has gone gold, and launches on PC and Xbox One on March 11 in North America, March 13 in Europe and Australia, and March 14 in other territories. The Xbox 360 version will arrive about two weeks later.
