Dark Souls 2 unboxing video shows the collector edition’s contents

Dark Souls 2′s collector’s edition has received the unboxing treatment out of Namco Bandai. Watch it here.

It follows this fan film, which imagines what Dark Souls 2 would be like if it were a 1980s cartoon. Watch it, seriously.

The pack includes:

  • Collectible Metal Case — The collectible case has a unique Warrior Knight art graphic on it that will only be found on the Black Armor Edition.
  •  Original Game Soundtrack – The Original Game Soundtrack is composed by Motoi Sakuraba, who composed the full score for the 2011 hit Dark Souls as well.
  • Premium quality 12 inch tall Warrior Knight figurine – Made from solid PVC weighing nearly 16 full ounces packed inside a custom printed display box with transparent window.
  • Exclusive hardbound artbook – Filled with never-seen-before images from the game developer
  • Sizable full-color microfiber game map

The pack’s out March 11 in the states, then March 14 across Europe. Any takers?

Stay tuned for my final impressions soon.

@FlyBoogy its seems PC release is in May.

Serval online stores have May as release date, but still no official info from Namco Bandai.

Sucks to wait 2 more months for the “lead version” while the 2 console ports are ready.
