Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is one of Microsoft exec Phil Spencer’s top five RPGs of all time, and he’s keen on the idea of an Xbox anniversary edition. He says he’s going to put it to a vote at the company.

It all went down on Twitter, after Spencer was asked for his top five RPGs:

He was then asked if the game could ever see an anniversary edition remake, similar to Fable Anniversary and Halo Anniversary. He replied:

Of course this would be a tricky one, what with Disney now owning Star Wars, and the rights of both EA and BioWare to contend with. It sounds like a legal nightmare, but would you like to see it happen? Let us know below.

Who’s this Jacob Taylor bloke anyway?

“Dear MS, I’d really love for you to clean out my bin and sell me back the contents.”

I think he should just shut up.. If an anniversary edition did come out, they would want to bundle in with 2 also.. and there’s NO way anyone should be asked to pay for that game any more… not until it’s finished or a the very least fixed.

..And no, community fixes don’t count as support for it being resold as is.
