Company of Heroes 2 DLC free for a limited time, Aftermath update arrives today

Company of Heroes 2 fans can enjoy a wealth of new content today thanks to a patch and the release of two free DLC packs.

Shack News reports German players can capitalise on the German Commander: Close Air Support Doctrine pack, which grants tactical air support from the JU-87 Stuka dive bomber.

Soviet players are offered the Soviet Commander: Advanced Warfare Tactics pack, featuring an IL-2 Sturmovik plane and T-34/85 tanks, as well as infantry upgrades.

The DLC packs are free for a limited time thanks to the Company of Heroes 2 fanbase's triumph in a recent challenge against Total War: Rome 2 players, playing more matches within a time limit than their rivals in Sega's more venerable strategy franchise. Grab them before February 22.

The packs also herald the arrival of the latest update, Aftermath, which adds battle servers and a community map among other features and improvements. The update goes live at 9:00PM PST; more details in the video below.
