Unsung Story Kickstarter ends, stretch goals for PS4, Vita, 3DS not met

Saturday, 15th February 2014 14:58 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Unsung Story’s Kickstarter campaign has ended, with $660,126 pledged by 15,824 backers. The project was funded successfully yesterday, but fell short of its first stretch goal, $750,000, which would have added Alexander O. Smith and Joseph Reeder to the project. Consequentially, this also means the stretch goals for PlayStation Vita, PS4 and 3DS versions were not met as well. The tactical RPG from Vagrant Story creator Yasumi Matsuno will be released on Android, iOS, Linux, Mac and PC.

I hope it gets enough benefits to do make it to PS4 but specially Vita or at least Sony help.

You know, lll take the chance to tell you a story about Vagrant Story.

In Spain, Vagrant wasnt translated, so a guy started a proyect to path it, what made the born of a great translation web proyects named Vagrant Traducciones (Vagrant Translations). Well, the translation patch got perfectly done, so perfect… Sony asked this guy years later to take his work and apply it to the Psone Classic launch of the game in the Spain PS Store…

But, they asked to do it for free, no rewards and not license for him.

    What do you think?

Huh. Didn’t even know there was a PS4 stretch goal for it. I might have contributed. Last time I heard, it was only for Vita (and PC, obviously) that they had offered and since I don’t give a shit about portable (or PC) gaming, I didn’t give them any money.
