Dark Souls 2 character creation shown in new screens

Dark Souls 2 will give gamers more freedom to craft their human punching bag this time. From Software has released a new batch of screens outlining the RPG’s character creator.

Not that things like facial features matter to those of you who rock helmets all day long, and there’s also the fact that the hero’s curse makes their skin go all green. Still, the creator tool seems to be expanded this time.

Famitsu has the screens through the link and they’re water-marked so I won’t be a dick and post them here.

They reveal a new ‘Gift’ tab which enables players to equip character-buffing items that will stay with them throughout the game. There are eight of these items in Dark Souls 2, and you can also equip these and swap them out after the game starts. Revealed so far are the Ring of Life, Articles of Healing and Giant’s Seed.

It’s out in March. Excited yet?

I bought the original one from Steam during a sale and then loaded it and saw Gaming for Windows Live. Then I exited out of it.

@silkvg247 You could always pick your gender in both Souls games before this one! :D I know because I have always played as a female heroine.
