Halo 2 Anniversary: Xbox One box art debunked by Microsoft – statement

Halo 2: Anniversary box art was said to have leaked yesterday, but it all looks a bit ‘Photoshop,’ and Microsoft has since released a statement on the matter.

The image follows leaks that suggest Halo 2: Anniversary will drop on Xbox One, November 11.

In a statement to OXM, Microsoft said of the art, “Other than confirming that your Halo journey on Xbox One begins in 2014, we have made no announcements related to specific titles. Any report or listing to the contrary is based solely on speculation and rumour.”

    Where’s the debunking? That statement is an overly verbose “no comment” and nothing else, it’s not denying anything.
