Cave is reducing its western presence

Cave, the Japanese studio known for its shoot ‘em ups, seems to be focusing in on its home territory.

The studio announced this week that it will be closing down the English language versions of its blog and social media accounts on February 28, 2014. After that, all information about upcoming titles will only be available in Japanese, which doesn’t bode well for anyone hoping to see western releases of Cave’s future games.

Thanks, Destructoid.

As if they ever had a western presence. The major reason why some of their games were played in the west was because they released them region-free. I still remember being really upset about them releasing some shmup region-locked.
Cave can screw themselves for all I care.
