Thursday, 23rd January 2014 20:17 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

SCEE has announced it will be bringing PlayStation Network down for maintenance on Monday, January 27 from 5.30pm to 11.30pm GMT. The firm expects the downtime to last approximately six hours. If you’ve signed in to PSN anytime before January 20, you will still be able to play games online and access apps. The PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home and Account Management will not be available during this time. The service will be brought down in North America as well from 12:30 PM to 6:30 PM EST.

This shouldn’t be happening when you’re forced to pay for multiplayer.

Seeing ps4 owners pay for this service is a bit of a bummer.
