Assassin's Creed film to be helmed by Safe House director - rumour

The Assassin's Creed movie has a director, according to "persistent talk" reported by Twitchfilm. Swedish director Daniel Espinosa, best known for Safe House and Easy Money, is said to be the producers' first choice. The film is in the works at 20th Century Fox in collaboration with Ubisoft, is expected in August 2015, and will star Michael Fassbender, who is also one of the producers.
