Battlefield 4 maps compared to real-life locations with impressive results

Battlefield 4 developer DICE used real-life environments as inspiration for the shooter's maps, and one gamer has created a gallery of side-by-side comparison shots to show you the similarities.

It follows word that Battlefield 4: Second Assault is due for PC in February. Hit the link to see what an EA rep had to say on the matter.

Reddit user SuperJoeBros has compiled a gallery of photos depicting locations including Shanghai Tower, the real tank factory used in Zavod 311, and the Paracel Islands. It's an interesting look at reality versus game development.

MP1st has also chucked some Battlefield 4 screens into the mix to give you a closer comparison.
