Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes special edition's novel artwork snapped by Kojima

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes' special edition release will come with a novel called Peace Walkers, featuring art from series artist Yoji Shinkawa. Director Hideo Kojima has posed photos of the tome online.

It follows Kojima's photo of PlayArts Kai's 'Quiet' figurine. See her in plastic form through the link.

Kojima took to Twitter and posted up two photos of Shinkawa's artwork. He added, "Here’s a sample of the Peace Walker‘s novelization book included in one of the special editions of Ground Zeroes. It’s lavishly illustrated by Shin-chan (Yoji Shinkawa) in color. That way those that don’t like text-only novels will also enjoy reading it."

Last year, I interviewed Shinkawa about his early years as an artist, how he came to work with Kojima, and I even took photos of him creating a piece of Snake artwork live. See it through the link.

Here's a bonus photo of all four editions of Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes running at once. Can you spot the difference?

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes hits PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in March.
