Battlefield 4: Second Assault PC due February, says EA rep

Tuesday, 21st January 2014 11:00 GMT By Dave Cook

Battlefield 4 DLC map pack Second Assault should be coming to PC in February, according to an EA representative.

It came from a web-chat between Origin user ‘Dhruv’ and a member of EA’s Customer Experience team. When asked if there was a release date for the DLC on PC, the rep replied, “It should be available in the month of February 2014.”

Here’s a grab of the conversation:

The DLC will launch first for Premium subscribers, then hit general release two weeks later. The pack includes returning Battlefield 3 mapsO peration Métro, Operation Firestorm, Caspian Border, and Gulf of Oman.

We’ll have more once a solid release date is confirmed.

And here I was thinking they’d fix their game first…

@1 The game isn’t that bad any more… well except for those people who kill you with 0% health, the sound glitches and the occasional kick you get for team killing in non-hardcore game modes… xD

Oh so the planes that spawn on a runway that aren’t able to take off is something normal? Love trying to find a slight bump on the runway to make my plane lift off the ground or smash into a billion pieces.
Worst BUG in the second assault maps.
Would be nice if the planes spawned on the carrier for Golf of Oman just like the classics.

Isn’t Dhruv the guy from Customer Experience? Also, the capture of the conversation is almost two months old. There are more recent uploads on the same account of a conversation with another staffer that say the DLC will be out in January.

I have almost zero problem myself. Only problems I do have are the 0% health and sound glitches like Ediz said. Other than that everything is running swimmingly.
