GoG’s Charity Promotion held back in November raised $1.9 million, the service announced today. Donations earned through the “Pick 3+ Donate $5″ promotion were distributed to the World Wildlife Federation, Worldbuilders and Gaming for Good. “The combination of these selfless developers and’s great gaming community–and the fact that they were willing to support these great causes–were the real cause of the success of the fundraiser, and continue to show that gamers around the world love to help make the world a better place,” said the company in a statement. Thanks, The Escapist.

Kudos to GOG for helping those in need. Top businesses that don’t help society should burn and die. 5 bucks

I love GOG, but the humble bundle guys are kicking their ass when it comes to charity.

In a perfect (gaming) world, humble bundle would sell keys instead of steam keys.
