Play as a nomadic slugcat in new indie platform adventure Rain World

Platformer goes live on Steam Greenlight and Kickstarter inspired by 16-bit classics. Watch the video and check out the soundtrack here.

Rain World is a new indie action platformer that has been in development for just under three years.

"Inspired by the aesthetics and simplicity of 16-bit classics, the gameplay consists of platforming and fast paced sneaking; both sneaking on your prey and sneaking in order to avoid larger creatures. A large focus of the development has been on enemy AI: they are cunning, vicious and they are always hunting you," says developer Joar Jakobsson.

It's currently on Steam Greenlight and Kickstarter, so if you like the look of it you know what to do.

And check out some of the awesome soundtrack here.
