Halo 4 art director steps down, will continue working with 343 Industries

Halo 4's art director has transitioned to a new role at 343 Industries, two months after his partner jumped ship.

"In order to be with his family, Kenneth Scott and 343 Industries have agreed to transition his current role," Microsoft told IGN.

Scott will be replaced as art director by colleague and collaborator Nicolas “Sparth” Bouvier, and will continue to work at 343 Industries in "a newly created role as a visual design consultant".

Relinquishing the top art job may allow Scott to work remotely more often, which would enable him to spend more time with his wife, Corrinne Yu, who left 343 Industries (Washington) for Naughty Dog (California) in November.

343 Industries is working on an as yet untitled Halo game for Xbox One, which is coming this year.
