SOE making changes to premium membership benefits for some of its MMOs

Sony Online Entertainment is making changes to premium membership benefits to EverQuest, EverQuest 2, PlanetSide 2 and some of its other MMOs, starting next month.

At present, premium members receive 500 Station Cash each month, but come February 3, members will instead have the option to pick one of several items worth 2000 station Cash in the Station Marketplace.

Each month a choice needs to be made as options will not carry over.

Changes to Legendary subscriptions will be made to DC Universe Online the same day, axing the monthly 500 Station Cash entirely in order to replace it with a new, monthly currency worth $5 called Loyalty Points. These will stack, unlike the above referenced changes.

Vanguard: Saga of Heroes players who are Gold Members will continue to receive their monthly 500 Station Cash, but All Access subscribers will no longer receive the stipend.

More in-depth information can be found through the relevant links.
