Where's My Water? 2 no longer utilises an energy system, according to version 1.10 update notes on the App Store. Users can now play without restriction, and those who purchased an expanded energy bar will be compensated with two free monster bundles. The decision was apparently driven by player feedback, and Disney's capitulation is just one of a number of recent retreats from common free-to-play systems, which seem to be losing popularity as the initial social surge dies off.
