UK game charts: FIFA 14 bags Christmas number one

FIFA 14 has claimed this year’s Christmas number one in the UK, fending off the bookie’s favourite, Call of Duty: Ghosts for the title.

It’s the 14th time a FIFA game has held the title in 28 years, and the first time it’s happened since 2008.

    Why… Is… Aliens CM… still in the top 20? Unless Sega is PAYING people to play their game, there must be something terribly, terribly wrong in UK. And no, even £5 us too much.

    The only people that can enjoy that game are the ones who either hate themselves or the Aliens franchise / movies.

    Really interesting point from EG article: This is the first time since Modern Warfare 2 that a COD game is not the Chrismas number one. Will Activision learn and try to fix things or will they ride this franchise to the ultimate ground just like they did with both Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk?
