Call of Duty: Ghosts updated with brand new mode

Call of Duty: Ghosts has been patched, but along with the usual boring bug fixes and tweaks there's an experimental new gameplay mode to enjoy.

Heavy Duty mode distinguishes itself by increased health - enhancing the "bullet sponge" effect, and potentially changing the battlefield dynamic.

Infinity Ward is looking for feedback on this new way of playing, so check it out.

Otherwise, the patch is mostly business, but it has added a couple of new loadouts to Infected Mode.

Full patch notes are available on the Call of Duty forums. The update is available across PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but not Wii U.
