Soul Calibur: Lost Swords adds three new playable characters

Soul Calibur: Lost Swords developer Project Soul has announced three new playable characters for its free PS3 brawler.

It comes as publisher Namco Bandai confirmed delays for both Soul Calibur: Lost Swords and Ace Combat: Infinity. Get the details through the link.

Now, in a press release sent to VG247, Namco Bandai confirmed that Nightmare, Pyrrha and Astaroth have been added to the character roster.

    @1: I think the vast majority of fans for the franchise were bitter as a whole about the forced and idiotic changes made to the storyline and roster. Both had absolutely no reason to happen, and the result is a divided fanbase, one half supporting SC5′s direction and the other half strictly against it. I’ve seen one person claim they won’t buy Soul games anymore if Sophitia is brought back, while I won’t buy them if she’s kept out, for example.

    I think Pyrrha was added in this time around as a way to suggest to people that for some reason liked the new direction that they’ll keep that crap around too.
