3DS eShop having problems after Miiverse update

Today Nintendo pushed through an update for the 3DS that adds support for Ninto IDs and the Miiverse, both long-awaited things, but it has apparently had some side effects that are preventing some users from accessing the eShop on that platform.

Game Informer is reporting personal anecdotes about encountering error 011-3051 when trying to access the eShop following the update, and they say they've had corroboration from others. Just another day in the connected world, right? Let us know if you're experiencing this problem.
