Broken Age, in development at Double Fine, was shown during VGX this evening and in the video it was revealed that Elijah Wood would be playing Shay. Earlier today, another video revealed Wil Wheaton would voice the lumberjack Curtis. Jack Black will also be starring in the game. Broken Age will be released in two parts, starting in January. Video is below.

this looks incredible. I backed the project and regret nothing. It’s a true adventure game and not something silly and casual as Borderlands.

Yay! This is one casting I feel really good about. I dig Elijah. So hooray for that!!! This makes me feel very good about Broken Age again.

And Jack Black, too? Lovely! He’s okay, pretty funny, so I like him too.

Hearing Elijah’s voice as Shay in game felt really good. I usually hate getting celebs to voice games but this feels one of those rare situation where its the voice that matches the character, not the other way around (AKA, DreamWorks Animation school of thought).
