Ubisoft survey polls fans on next Assassin’s Creed, possible pirate game outside the franchise

A Ubisoft survey has cropped up, asking fans about future Assassin’s Creed games and whether they would be interested in pirate game set outside the franchise.

According to the survey posted on IGN (thanks, Shack),the survey asks questions regarding the importance of a customizable character, ship, and hideout, questions regarding in-game economy, and whether they would prefer to be at sea or on land more.

It also queries participants on cooperative and multiplayer naval missions.

As far as Assassin’s Creed was concerned in the survey, takers were asked if they would like to play as a modern-day hero, and what would the “must haves” for the next title.

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is available now, and its first expansion, Freedom Cry, is slated for release later this month.

    Seperate pirate game please!

I still remember Pirates of the Caribbean which was published by Bethesda on pc, I absolutely loved that game. If ubi do make a separate game I’d like to see trading, where you can sell goods for varying prices across the world so it establishes proper trade routes for buying low and selling high.

Also a real fleet where you sail along with more than one ship and can upgrade them all individually.

On a pirate game outside of the franchise, YES YES YES!

But if it outside the franchise, Don’t make it assassins creed like, otherwise just make a black flag 2.

I would love a Pirate role playing game.

@2, only thing is I still enjoy searching the ruins for treasures so I think some kind of free running or climbing would have to remain in the game to make land based exploration a bit less tedious.

The actual Assassin’s Creed parts of Black Flag are the weakest parts, if the studio could have gone full out and just made a Pirate game it could have been amazing.

Personally give Assassins creed a break, you are seriously doing too many, one a year, plus dlc. Its too much, should be every two years, builds up more excitement, you can spend longer making it even better.

As for Pirate game, the people who should work on one is Rockstar, look at how awesome Red dead was, imagine that but pirates and will all the advances theyve made since.

Pirate game outside of the franchise is a good idea.

But never, give up to Assassins Creed franchise and still want to occur each year. ASSASSINS CREED THE BEST FRANCHISE EVER.

They are the most interesting ideas from my point of view for the next game in the series:

    ANCIENT ROME(my favorite),

    War of the Roses,

    Feudal Japan,

    Dynasty Chinese,

    Spanish Armada (1588 AD),

    Medieval England,

    13th Century Mongolia (1227 AD),

    the French Revolution,

    The New World,

    Westward Expansion (1870-1899 AD).

All the above ideas I want to become a game, I personally buy them. I
hope this game still occur each year. (Personally buying it). I rather
like the idea of the game action than stealth. Present day is the most
boring, I hope the game is not focused on the present. Indeed the last
assassins creed black flag has a fresh, very good, I like that it is
full of action, stealth side I do not disappear but remain as little.
(As much action). Playing as a new assassin in the different historical
time period is the best choise.

    spoiler alert for AC3
I still think a post-Desmond, which of course means post-apocalyptic Assassin’s Creed would be sweet.

Lost technology would mean you don’t have to break the game with automatic firearms, and for the first time you’d have 3 sides fighting. Assassins, Templars, and Juno loyalists.

For assassins creed 5 I have two ideas:
1: in japan: it should have ninjas and a really good storyline of love, revenge and awesomeness. It should also be like two stories of different ninja clans against each other. There should be samurai bosses, ninja chases and plus ninjas assassinate anyways. It shall be called : Assassins creed V: Code of Honor.

2: in the year 2098: In the future you are a paid assassin who only goes to the highest bidder. You realize that you are also a cyborg and want to know your past. You’re told that one OF the People You Use to or currently work for Know Your past but will Kill YOU If YOU ask even one of them. Also people are after you for revenge or for money. You can only trust one man. The one who turned you into a cyborg.

    My Ideas: Viking and Buddhist:

    1. AC Northern Storm: we learn the apple of eden was behind the viking transition to Christianity. Snowy terrain, use of ships and could include any city the vikings sacked for climbing elements from Ireland to Russia there are lots of options.

    2. AC Eastern Exile: Fleeing his past a lone assasin finds himself in a Chinese Buddhist monistary; tries to live peacefully but wants to help the victimized locals. New fighting style could be more eastern influenced (assassin+kung fu: the ‘quicktime’ style fighting isn’t going anywhere at least it could look different). Jesuit missionarys bring with them old enemies, and the forbidden city as the main set piece would be amazing.

I like the Idea of a future AC, but the Deus Ex franchise is making a comeback and I’m not sure they could co-exist.

Guys, Guys…Watchdogs is supposedly a modern remake of Assassin’s Creed. If anyone had bothered to read a manuscript in AC 5 ,It will show that Abstergo Industries is currently working on a monitoring and security system called cTOS ,which as you can see,is present in Watchdogs. That would imply that the main villains are templars.

There was a mention of the company in AC4 but that’s all. It was a mention nothing more.
