PS4 consoles available at 150 Tesco stores without pre-order from tonight

PlayStation 4 is out in across the UK and Europe from midnight tonight, and retailer Tesco will have consoles at 150 stores with no pre-order necessary.

Meanwhile 155 ASDA stores will have PS4′s in stock tonight, and mobile provider O2 is giving PS4 consoles away with £52 phone contracts.

Now, Tesco is getting on the PS4 launch train, with 150 stores holding stock nationwide. The announcement was made on Twitter, and a list of participating stores was published in tandem. Just hit this link and use the their store locator with PS4 filter enabled to see if your local shop will have units tonight.

    MS and Sony have not been totally successful in convincing me that they have stock shortages…everywhere seems to have them.

    Only time I ever saw it for real was the Wii launch

    Nope. Poor launch software. I’m too old to care about that ‘day one’ feeling and none of the launch games offer anything I would pay 400 notes for.
