Final Fantasy 14 & 11, Dragon Quest 10 cross-overs get details and screens

Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn, Final Fantasy 11 and Dragon Quest 10 will engage in a season of big cross-over events from December, right through to March Square-Enix has detailed the events and released a new batch of screens.

Siliconera reports that the first event takes place December 11, and it sees a mage from Dragon Quest 10 appearing in Final Fantasy 11. He's looking for his lost Slime. It's a Monstrosity event, which means you get to control the Slime. You'll get a Slime helmet and shield for your trouble.

One of Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn's monsters - a Spriggan - will also show up in Final Fantasy 11. It's also a Monstrosity event that yields new gear at the end.

Between January and February, Final Fantasy 14 will be invaded by Final Fantasy 11's feared black mage Shantotto, and can be engaged in a FATE battle. If you defeat her you get to keep her as a minion - a pet, basically. There's also a FATE that sees Dragon Quest 10's Golem's tear up Eorzea. Defeating them will net you a little Golem minion.

Shantotto will also appear in Dragon Quest 10 between February and March. If you give her a shopping list of materials she will make you a Chocobo hat. One of Final Fantasy 14's Moogles will also appear in the game, and can make you a Cactaur Mask if you give them the right ingredients.

We'll update you all once we have specific dates for these events. But for now, what do you think?
