Wasteland 2 should go into beta within the next two and a half weeks, according to tweets from inXile boss Brian Fargo.
"Feeling very confident that the Wasteland 2 beta will be ready within 2.5 weeks," he tweeted.
"Knocking down the list of annoying things very fast. We won't set a full release date until we work through the beta with our backers, ultimately we are making this game together."
