well thats rather odd because i’ve had this app since last week it works good initially takes a while to load but after you can send messeges from it (after signing in on it) and when i’ve sent one to someone in the message it says “sent from a device other than the ps3 system” in the main bit it has a large “what’s New” box and to the right and underneath it has five boxes starting with the store then friends then settings in the bottom right and then trophies finishing with your profile you also have on the main page three options below and four above, im from the uk so if this post is accurate im potentially the first with the app lol but its likely not to be the case.

@1 If you had the original app, you were able to upgrade to the new one, or it can be downloaded on the App Store from a PC, but it doesn’t appear on the App Store in most European regions at the moment. This would alparent explain why.

but i did have the original app, and just updated it.
hoping for more functionality from it (and some settings) come the 29th!

Thanx vg247 for giving me the heads up. I’m playing with the app now and I must admit its incredible sending msgs back and forth with a friend of mine while hes on his PS4. Plus you can send recorded audio and pictures with your cameraphone to his PS4 too. Awesome!
